Gainesville Tree Lighting



December 4, my sister queens and I were to one of the many guest of honors at the Gainesville Tree Lighting Ceremony. The most important guest being Santa of course : ). We help facilitate the evening and took tons of photos with tons of people. On of the highlights was going on a horse-drawn carriage ride in which they lined the streets with candles. It was just the right amount of cold so it was a great ride. Second was getting a photo with Santa..who doesn't love that. It was great seeing all of my sister queens for the 2011 pageant year I hope we get to do another activity before my reign ends this upcoming February.

Miss St. Petersburg USA

Better late than never. A couple of weeks ago myself and Nicole Kelley Miss Earth Untied States attended the Miss St. Petersburg pageant across the state to cheer on our friend Collins Medlin who was competing. It was an excellent pageant and I'm happy to say that Collins won! Collins will go on to compete at the Miss Florida USA pageant this July in Hollywood, Florida. Miss Daytona Beach May 1, 2011

Today I was asked to be the host of the Miss Daytona Beach USA pageant. It was an amazing experience and a great practice for the state competition. When we asked all of the traveling titleholders to come on stage I put my extemporaneous speaking skills to work and started asking the hard hitting questions, or more just name and title with a little padding here or there. Three girls were crowned tonight but all of them did such an amazing job. I can't wait to attend my next pageant in the future, having been on both sides of the spectrum it is truly a job to be an amazing titleholder! <3 Miss West Volusia USA
